Upcoming Movies

300 is the first big movie of 2007 to ever hit the theaters this year. It is one of the most anticipated movies of the year along with a bunch of sequels from previous blockbusters.

300, amongst other things, is one of the breathtaking movies you'd see in a while. It is visually stunning and a true feast for the eyes that makes up for what it lacks in story and dialogues. Just prepare to be awed and be surprise with what could be the greatest battle in movie history. Leonidas makes Achilles (Troy) look dumb and wussy! Even Braveheart would hide under his kilt when he sees him in action!

For the comic to screen comparison of the graphic novel by Frank Miller, check this out.

But these are not the films that you should look out for during the next few months. Hollywood is cooking up something better. Something different from what we have seen so far. No more sequels. No more Asian-adapted movies. It's time to recreate well-loved characters. These movies are surefire blockbusters and must-sees! Ibang level na 'to!

Which among them will be your future favorites? Which are the must-sees on your list? :-)

Oh, Lani, Where Art Thou?

I was told that Lani Misalucha would be guesting on Sharon last Wednesday, March 7. Of course, go ako along with Biboy, Ryan, and Liezl. Di man ako makapanood ng concert niya sa 17th, at least I get to see her perform live.

Let these pictures tell the story of the missing Lani. Incidentally, the title of her upcoming concert is
Missing You at the Araneta Coliseum. Korek siya ru'n! We missed her during Sharon taping. Kakawindang siya, ah. Grrr!

Lucky Me kids during rehearsals

Even
Baywalk Bodies and Tuesday Vargas/Empoy. For a while, when we saw them enter the stage, we thought of a connection between them and Lani: "Las Vegas," "Showgirls?"

The taping started rolling at 9:45 P.M.
Shawie sang "Butchiki". The theme that night was novelty songs and dances.

During the first break, Shawie asked her girdle to be pushed up. She saw me taking her picture...

"Ay, vinidyuhan ako! Ang bait mo. Sana kunin ka na ni Lord," she jokingly said.

Tuesday and Empoy came out next with "Babae Po Ako" and a song by Vhong Navarro. (I forgot the title.) In fairness, maganda si Tuesday. :-)

Joking around with Tuesday and Empoy

Interviewing UD4 after their dance number

Shawie was shocked when told that UD4 would teach her the dance steps

Shawie reminisced her Forgive & Forget days when she used to dance. "Kinahiya ba naman ako ni KC nung mapanood 'yung movie na 'yun," she said.

Sige, dance ever pa! Tingnan ang kembot ng lola, F&F talaga!

Walang patawad! Dance everchu pa rin with Baywalk Bodies

Ang mga boovies at kefs! Kadiri talaga!

"Lucky, lucky me..."

Having fun with the kids

"Makisig, ang swerte mo. Masarap akong maging nanay sa movie."

Could somebody tell us the name of the guy in the pic?! Sobrang papa!

Andrew E. was the final guest that night. He sang the decade-old "Humanap Ka Ng Panget." Pinasabay pa niya kaming audience habang nakatayo! Siyet! Kahiya talaga, ever!

So, that's it! Wala ang lola Lani! If not for Shawie, isusumpa ko ang gabing 'yun. Jologs ever talaga!

Grabe talaga! Hindi ko carry itoh!

A 1M Dollar Question

I went to Star Cinema earlier today for my final CDG training interview. Amongst the questions of goals, experiences, and whatnots, a million dollar question was asked by Ms Tammy:

MT: Are you in a relationship?
JD: Y-yes...
MT: Any plans of getting married?
JD: Hmm.. (with a smile on my face) Not yet...
MT: How long na ba?
JD: Four years?

MT: O, di pa ba siya nagtatanong?
JD: Hmm.. Hindi pa naman.
MT: Do you have plans of having a family though?
JD: Yes...
MT: Of settling down?
JD: Yes, someday. (smile still plastered on my face)
MT: Buti di ka kinukulit.
JD: Career po muna.
MT: So kailan mo balak?

With that, nagtawanan lang kami!
