As what I have posted earlier on, there are already plans of turning the comic book turned musical Zsazsa Zaturnnah into a movie. It will be under Regal Films at the helm of director Joel Lamangan. Casts are still being considered but as of today at ETK, Eula Valdes announced that she'd be playing the character. When asked as to how she feels being the third choice for the role, she replied, "Care ko?!", in a Zaturnnah tone. "The important thing is akin na siya."The superheroine movie role was first offered to Rufa Mae Quinto then to Zsazsa Padilla. Even if she didn't get the role, Eula said that she wouldn't mind. She added, "It doesn't necessarily follow that if I did the play, I'd do the movie, as well."
However, for us who have seen the play and loved Eula in it, this is great news! Because she has played the part well, we'd get to see Zsazsa on the big screen being played to a T.
Congratulations, Ms. Eula! You deserve it! Suggestion ko lang, dagdag effects sa boobs! ;-)

wow, Jheck! This is a surprise! I've been sooo buy with other things...nahuhuli na ako sa balita! It was just seconds ago that Carl showed me your post about Ricci, and the next time I looked, it's Eula!!!!

Such a sad thing about Ricci, no? Anyway, we'll be seeing the matinee on the 23rd. Sayang, we won't see each other. May plans na kasi 'yung ibang friends ko on the last week of April.

Hello, zee! The first time I learned about the film, si Rufa Mae ang nasa top list. That was Feb pa. Last Sat, Eula announced that she'd be doing the film. Then, yesterday, lumabas sa newspaper na si Rufa Mae daw. Tama ba? Even my friends told me about it. Medyo delayed ata ang news. Or this would be the first time that there was news about it. Inuunti-unti lang ata 'yung paglabas ng balita. But then again, till they haven't started with the film yet, we could never be too sure. Let's wait and see...

Rufa Mae Quinto is playing ZSAZSA in the movie. Nag-shoot na sila ni Mark Meily last April 19. Alam ko po ito kasi sinabi sa akin ni Mr. Meily at tinext din sa akin ni Rufa Mae na siya na nga talaga:)
Ako rin daw kasi ang gagawa ng music sa movie. Yehey!!! Sana hindi magbago isip nila.
